Give For Gonzo - An All-Star Benefit Concert

Give For Gonzo - an All-Star Benefit Concert held on December 21, 2017, at Moonshine Beach in Pacific Beach, San Diego, CA. The event was put together to raise money for Ryan Gonzo, lead guitarist and backup vocalist for the San Diego based reggae band, Tribal Seeds.  It was reported that Gonzo had suffered a stroke while on tour with the group in November of 2017.

The benefit event was a fantastic night full of well wishes, surprise performances, jam sessions/collabs, and good vibes all around. Some of those in attendance were members of Tribal Seeds, Slightly Stoopid, Fortunate Youth, Arise Roots, Hirie, Eli-Mac, Preston Lee, Kaleo Wassman of Pepper, Eric Rachmany of Rebelution, and Ital Vibes, just to name a few.

We are so honored to have been at this event and blessed to have the ability to contribute as much as we could. We are proud of this little reggae community and love seeing how much we all pull together to help and support each other.

The goal of the event was to raise $5K, with artists performing free of charge, a silent auction, raffles, and merchandise for purchase. 100% of the proceeds were going straight to Gonzo, and at the end it was reported that over $14K was raised! What a success!
