Reggae Rise Up festivals have been a must-go-to festival for many years, with locations in Utah and Florida. During the weekend of October 9, 2021, the festival made it's first appearance in none other than Las Vegas, Nevada.
For those of us that reside in the southwestern part of the country, this was a welcome treat. After missing several festivals in the last couple of years due to cancellations and postponements, it was with great anticipation that we attended this fest.
How to sum up this festival? Incredible. Absolutely incredible.
The people all around were gracious, the bands all turned out amazing performances, the festival grounds were super clean and well managed, the staff was accommodating, and the all around vibes were high the entire weekend.
The location at the Downtown Las Vegas Events Center was a perfect location, situated across the street from the world famous Freemont Street. With so much to do just a couple steps away from the fest, festival-goers had little trouble filling their pre and post fest time.
We couldn't have asked for a better return to the large multi-day festival experience, and can't wait for the next one!
